Caribbean Fun Day

Our annual Fun Day, this year with a Caribbean theme, turned out to be a fabulous afternoon in Caribbean temperatures, where our dress code was relaxed and all members were encouraged to wear their brightest colours, and how spendid everyone looked. 

We commenced with a spider, which is always great fun and was won by Brian who was rewarded with a golden pineapple.

We continued the afternoon with 15 ends of light-hearted bowls; Caribbean music from Trevor; burgers and sausages cooked on the BBQ by our very own Captain Bob accomanpied with delicious sides served by our social team.  

To add to this "The Seventh Rink" was manned by our Club Secretary Pauline, helping everyone wash down their supper with a cold drink or two!

A great day once again at HBC, well done and huge thanks to everyone who made it possible.
